I have just finished watching the BBC Drama Five Daughters and felt compelled to write something here for Gemma's family. I was so moved by the programme - drug addiction is a terrible thing but the programme showed that all five girls were lovely ordinary girls who had just got into the wrong crowd. I am so sorry for your loss and hope that Gemma and the other 4 girls are now at peace. Dx

To all of Gemmas family,
I have watched the BBc drama and have felt compelled to write you my condolences and heartfelt sympathy for what you have endured. I hope the drama has done Gemma and all the girls justice for the family members that they where. I am a nurse and regularly look after people that are addicted to some form of substance which takes over their lives and minds, i regularly see the distruction this causes and know only too well that this is not a life they want to be in. I am so sorry that Gemma never got her chance to be free of the addiction as she was planning, and that she was so cruelly and brutally taken. I cannot for one minute imagine how you feel, i myself have a 7 year old daughter and the thought of losing her to drugs or murder fills me with fear, but i know that she has to live her life the way it was planned and i cannot wrap her up in cotton wool. I would just like you to know that your daughter was beautiful and my prayers are with you all and the other familys who fell victim of the beast that took them away.

Can I firstly leave my thoughts and respect on here for the family and friends of Gemma.
Dear Family
Whilst the case was on at the Ipswich Court you may have been aware of my family case on in Court 5. My niece's baby was murdered by his own father and she was attacked.
I am now campaigning & seeking support for Life to mean Life and for improved Victim and Family Aftercare, amongst other things. If you are interested in this I have organised a Justice Walk for March 28 from Ipswich Crown Court at 2pm. Thanks for reading this, I appreciate where your at because my family are on your side of the fence.
